Hitting A New Low In Fashion Literacy
I pined for a Cat In The Hat scarf my entire childhood. It’s the one thing the Kitting Ninja AKA Grandma Special Agent Phoenix ever denied me. (She hated weaving in the ends, so a striped scarf was out of the question).
Thirty years later, I finally managed to knit myself a Cat In The Hat Scarf. Out of cashmere. Of Course.
It’s my favorite scarf, which is, naturally, why a clothes moth decides to snack on it over all the other scarves in my wardrobe. Today, I finally got around to fixing the moth hole (#22 on the master To Do list).
It’s only just now, as I was combing the web for an image for this post that I realized that The Cat In The Hat doesn’t wear a scarf. He wears a floppy bow tie.

OMG. How could I have been so wrong?
