Capsule Travel Wardrobe: What I Wore Today, 9.17.11

Tonight the flat mate and I went to Stazione Leopolda to attend the Nextech Festival. We’d wanted to see the Italian Academy’s Student Fashion Show. Since the website mentioned that admission was free before 9:30 pm, we arrived a little before 8 pm to ensure we could get into the event without having to buy a 25 Euro ticket.

Apparently, “Free admission before 9:30 pm,” means to the Nextech organizers “Let everyone show up early, stand around in an unairconditioned space for an hour while the DJ’s do their sound checks, and then boot everyone out before the music starts at 9 pm so they have to pay to get back in.”

How do you say, “Lame,” in Italian?
