Capsule Travel Wardrobe: What I Wore Today, 11.1.11, Lucca Comics 2011
Filed under Capsule Travel Wardrobe, Florence Italy, Noted

Today Cati, my italian language exchange buddy, took me to Lucca, a gorgeous Tuscan town that is famous for its renaissance-era walls, for Lucca Comics and Games, which is Italy’s answer to ComicCon.
Unlike at Essen and ComicCon which are both held in fugly convention facilities, Lucca Comics and Games is held in tents in the piazze (that’s plural for piazza, you boob) of the old walled city. The contrast between the the hoards of CosPlayers and the gorgeous Renaissance architecture is kind of amazing.

This is not the tourist you’re looking for. (The nerd is strong in this one).

Damn!

Why is this sign only in English? Oh, nevermind.

Needs moar moat!

Oh yeah, what I wore today: black and white striped long-sleeved t-shirt + black with white stripes sweater + black 1940′s wool jacket + chinos + black tennis shoes + Cynthia Rowley handbag
